South Africa Luxury Tour - Two Safaris, Johannesburg, the Luxury Blue Train and Cape Town

Day 1.Johannesburg
Arrival at Johannesburg (OR Tambo International) Airport, meet and greet and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2. Johannesburg - Ivory Tree Game Lodge (B, L & D)
After breakfast transfer by road from the Michelangelo hotel to the Ivory Tree Game Lodge (in Pilanesburg) some 150 kilometres (about a two hour drive) and accommodation for 2 nights in a Standard Suite [Full Board].

Ivory Tree Game Lodge - A 5 Star Lodge
Ivory Tree Game Lodge is situated in the north eastern region of the Pilanesberg National Park and is home to the Big 5 (Lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and Cape buffalo).

Nestled in the basin of an ancient amphitheatre divided by riverine woodlands and elephant trails lies an exclusive lodge development site. The central facility includes a stunning feature pool, bar, conference room, dining room, boma, reception and curio shop.

Day 2 through to Day 3 includes 2 game drives per day.


Day 4. Ivory Tree Game Lodge - Jaci's Safari Lodge (B, L & D)
After breakfast a private road transfer from the Ivory Tree Lodge to the Jaci's Safari Lodge (just over an hour)and 2 night's accommodation at the luxury Jaci's Safari Lodge in a luxury suite including:
*All meals, selected drinks & scheduled game activities

Jaci's Safari Lodge - a 5 star lodge
Situated in the Malaria Free Madikwe Game Reserve boasting 75,000 hectares of "Big 5 territory.' You can also expect to see Wild Dog, both Black and White Rhino, extensive plains game, including Sable, Gemsbok, Springbok and Giraffe, as well as over 340 species of birds. Jaci's Safari Lodge invites you to share the wildness of Africa in the exclusive luxury of a magnificent Lodge. It is situated at an ideal spot overlooking an established and well used water hole, under a grove of Tamboetie trees, on the edge of the Marico River. Safari Lodge has eight beautifully furnished rooms designed in the style of tents with roll-able canvas sides, each with an en-suite bathroom and magnificent outside shower. The deck in front of the room allows you to sit and enjoy the surrounding sights and smells of the bushveld - whilst watching the animals walking past to drink. The walls in the bathroom are built using natural rock and the bath was constructed on site.

Day 4 through to Day 5 includes scheduled game drives per day.


Day 6. Jaci's Safari Lodge- Johannesburg (B)
After breakfast a private road transfer from Jaci's Safari Lodge back to Johannesburg. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 7. Johannesburg - Pretoria - Blue Train to Cape Town (B, L & D)
After breakfast, transfer to Pretoria where you will board the ultra Luxury Blue Train passenger service bound for Cape Town.
Complete with your own private luxury cabin and all meals and drinks onboard (not including French champagne).
Embark on a voyage of discovery and old world charm as you sit back and view South Africa in grace and style.

Day 8. Blue Train to Cape Town (B)
Upon arrival at Cape Town at approximately mid day, transfer to your hotel.

CAPE GRACE - V&A WATERFRONT

Day 9. Cape Town (B)
Today, you will embark on the Grand Cape Peninsula full day tour.
An unforgettable journey to the mythical meeting place of two great oceans. Breathtaking scenic beauty contrasts with the harsh rugged conditions of the most South-Westerly edge of the African Continent.
The tour highlights include the Clifton beach Hout Bay & Mariners Wharf, a boat ride to view the seals ( R45.00/US$7.00- optional extra), Chapman's Peak Drive, Cape Point & Nature Reserve (R45.00/ US$7.00- tram ticket extra cost), the Penguin colony at the Boulders and the historic Simon's Town. Return to your hotel.

Day 10. Cape Town (B)
Today, a private full day Winelands Tour.
Enjoy a relaxing day travelling through the spectacular mountain scenery and lush fertile valleys of the Cape. Taste a mixture of fascinating history and indulge in the pleasures of the renowned Cape Winelands. You will be taken on a cellar tour to view the winemaking process. During this tour you visit at least 3 wine estates and partake in three wine tasting sessions.

Tour Highlights:
Stellenbosch - Franschhoek - Paarl. You will be taken on a guided tour of these towns and visit an established wine estate on 3 main wine routes. We have made our criteria for selection of wine estates, high standards of winemaking, historical and architectural significance, picturesque environment and visitor friendliness.

Cellar tour: Tour a wine cellar to view the winemaking process
Wine Tasting: 3 wine tasting sessions (4-5 wines per session) will be included in our all day wine tour

Day 11. Cape Town (B)
Free day at leisure. Option of a day trip to see the world famous Great White Shark. You may also use a dive cage (if you are brave enough) and if you would like to see these huge sharks close-up. (please ask for price and further details).

Day 12. Cape Town - Johannesburg (B)
After breakfast a private transfer to the Cape Town International Airport for the return flight to Johannesburg and your connecting flight home.
