19 days/ 18 nights Buenos Aires - Mendoza - Bariloche - Cordoba - Buenos Aires

ITINERARY
Day 1 (Jan 1): Buenos Aires
Arrival to Buenos Aires. Reception and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 (Jan 2): Buenos Aires: the checks at La Rural, The Podium (Breakfast, Lunch)
Morning city tour including visits to La Boca, San Telmo, 9 de Julio Avenue and the Obelisk, Colon Theatre, Puerto Madero and La Recoleta.
In the afternoon (3pm-5pm) visit to Plaza de Francia known for the Obelisk where the Podium of the Dakar Rally will be located.
Accommodation in Buenos Aires.

Day 3 (Jan 3): Pampas (Breakfast)
Full Day Fiesta Gaucha Excursion, visiting a typical "estancia" in the pampas. Return to your hotel.

Day 4 (Jan 4): Buenos Aires - Iguazu (Breakfast)
Arrival to Iguazu. Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel. A visit to the fabulous UNESCO World Heritage Iguazu falls, the most voluminous falls in the world and more than three times the width of the Niagara Falls. The Argentinean side of Iguazú allows for a close appreciation. Set in a subtropical rain forest reserve of over 180,000 hectares, Iguazú is home to jaguar, puma, caiman and over 400 species of bird. This tour includes"The Great Adventure", an exhilarating boat ride on the Iguazu river, heading towards the falls themselves. Return to your hotel.

Day 5 (Jan 5): Iguazu Falls - Brazilian side (Breakfast)
Cross the border into Brazil for a half day excursion to appreciate a wider view of the falls. Return to your hotel in Argentina. Please note that US Citizens require a visa for Brazil!

Day 6 (Jan 6): Iguazu - Buenos Aires (Breakfast)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Reception and transfer to your hotel.

Day 7 (Jan 7): Buenos Aires - Mendoza (Breakfast)
Flight from Buenos Aires to Mendoza. Reception and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon guided tour to the city including both the colonial and the modern part of the city, the commercial centre and the San Martín park. To end the day we will stop at a bodega for some wine tasting. Return to your hotel and get prepared for the next day, when the Dakar will arrive in this province.

Day 8 (Jan 8): Mendoza - San Rafael (Breakfast)
After an early breakfast, transfer by 4X4 to San Rafael, located in the southern part of the province of Mendoza. We will move up to the zone of encounter with the circuit's rally. Catering, drinks and snacks will be provided. Return to your hotel in Mendoza in the evening.

Day 9 (Jan 9): Mendoza - Valle de Uspallata (Breakfast, Dinner)
After an early breakfast, transfer to Uspallata Valley by 4X4 enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery this area has to offer. We will provide you with catering, drinks and snacks. Return to Mendoza in the evening. Goodbye dinner.

Day 10 (Jan 10): Mendoza - Buenos Aires (Breakfast)
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires. Reception and transfer to your hotel.

Day 11: Buenos Aires - Bariloche (Breakfast)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Bariloche. Reception and transfer to your hotel.

Day 12: Bariloche (Breakfast)
After breakfast, we shall take the cable car up Cerro Campanario before enjoying a visit to Victoria Island and walking through the Los Arrayanes National Park. Return to your hotel.

Day 13: Bariloche (Breakfast)
Free day of leisure to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Bariloche. Enjoy the most deluxe ski resort in South America or simply wander around the shops. Or perhaps try some fly fishing.

Day 14: Bariloche - Buenos Aires (Breakfast)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the return flight to Buenos Aires. Reception and transfer to your hotel.

Day 15 (Jan 15) Buenos Aires - Cordoba (Breakfast, Lunch)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cordoba. In the afternoon, a city tour including the San Martin Square with the Cathedral, the Historical Town Hall, the Manzana de las Luces with the Church of the Company of Jesus, the Casa de Trejo, the Monserrat National School and the Fray Jose Antonio de San Alberto Museum.

Day 16 (Jan 16): Cordoba (Breakfast)
Special Stage finish line or drive-by spot. Accommodation in Cordoba.

Day 17 (Jan 17): Cordoba - Buenos Aires - Contender arrival (Breakfast)
Contender departure. Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires. .Transfer to La Rural for the contender arrival. Accommodation in Buenos Aires.

Day 18 (Jan 18) Podium, prizes and tango (Breakfast, Dinner)
The Podium at La Rural and prize ceremony. Dinner and tango show. Accommodation in Buenos Aires.

Day 19 (Jan 19): Buenos Aires (Breakfast)
Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
