The Plaza Grande in Quito is absolutely fabulous, the Royal Palm in the Galapagos is the best hotel we ever stayed in; the chef is outstanding, his meals are some of the best we ever had. Did you know that Prince Charles stayed there when he visited the islands? We are sure that the service we received was just as good as his. We had a marvelous time in the Galapagos and it was living a dream.

Day 4: Cape Town/Helderberg
Visit Robbinson Island in the morning, then we continue to Helderberg for a wine tasting. Return to Cape Town. Mount Nelson Hotel.
Day 5: Cape Town/Windhoek
Enjoy the view of South Africa as you fly north into Namibia. City tour in Windhoek and afternoon to shop around and relax. Windhoek Country Club Resort.
Day 6: Windhoek/Sossusvlei
Early morning flight to Sossusvlei, where huge towering dunes - said to be the highest in the world - rise dramatically above the surrounding plains. Afternoon tour to the surroundings. Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp.
Day 7: Sossusvlei
Sunrise on the dunes. Visit to the vlei by 4x4. Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp.
Day 8: Sossusvlei/Etosha
Early morning flight to Etosha, one of Namibias finest parks to spot game. Lunch at lodge followed by a late afternoon game drive. Ongava Lodge or Camp.
Day 9: Etosha
Full day game drive. Ongava Lodge or Camp.
Day 10: Etosha/Windhoek
Fly to Windhoek for your homebound connection. Windhoek Country Club Resort (dayroom).
