Amazing Voyages kept track of us every day and we cannot explain how important it was to us to feel that we were in very good hands. Every driver and guide was always on time and very gracious and helpful and our every need was taken care of for us. We really appreciate your professionalism.

The Plaza Grande in Quito is absolutely fabulous, the Royal Palm in the Galapagos is the best hotel we ever stayed in; the chef is outstanding, his meals are some of the best we ever had. Did you know that Prince Charles stayed there when he visited the islands? We are sure that the service we received was just as good as his. We had a marvelous time in the Galapagos and it was living a dream.

Days 4 - 6. Victoria Falls - Matetsi Private Game Reserve (All meals)
After breakfast, take the light aircraft flight to the Victoria Falls International Airport where, upon landing, you will be met by a representative who will drive you to the exceptional Matetsi River Lodge. Just as legendary missionary-explorer Dr David Livingstone was swept up by sheer wonderment, nothing can quite prepare you for the awe-inspiring spectacle that is the majestic Victoria Falls. Aptly named Mosi-oa-Tunya "the Smoke which Thunders", the roaring, mist-filled chasm of the world's largest sheet of falling water is an absolute must-see on an African safari. Just 40 kilometres (24 miles) above the Falls, the mighty Zambezi River that feeds this UNESCO World Heritage Site glides serenely past the wildlife haven of Matetsi Private Game Reserve. Here, set along 15km (9 miles) of private Zambezi River frontage, a flourishing riverine habitat gives way to over 50 000 hectares (124 000 acres) of pristine wilderness. Matetsi Private Game Reserve boasts an exclusive, year-round game viewing experience - both on the water and in the reserve's spectacular habitats. The Matetsi River Lodge offers a safari oasis that combines an exceptional wildlife experience with easy access to the majestic Victoria Falls. Here, guests have the opportunity to take advantage of an extensive Safari Shop, fitness centre, massage sala and conference facility. A 23 meter long, rim-flow swimming pool stretches along the riverbank, while an exclusive wine cellar boasts eye-level views of the Zambezi River. Matetsi River Lodge boasts two intimate camps of just nine river-facing suites each, including two family suites. Each camp features its own guest area with a variety of dining spaces, an interactive kitchen, a convivial bar and an al fresco area that encircles a blazing fire bowl. A private veranda offers a refreshing pool and a comfortable sitting area that overlooks the river.
Spend three nights at Matetsi River Lodge in a suite with ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes accommodation, three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits, beers, teas and coffees, refreshments on game drives, scheduled safari activities, sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River, canoeing, fishing and laundry.
Activities include twice-daily game drives, sunrise or sunset boat cruises, walking safaris, canoeing, birdwatching, fishing and an interpretive Tour of the Falls, led by an experienced guide. Additional activities at Victoria Falls include various adrenaline adventures such as bungee jumping and zip-lining, high tea overlooking the Falls, horseback safaris and community excursions.

After breakfast, you will be driven across the border to Botswana, where you will take a light aircraft flight from Kasane International Airport to the Chitabe Airstip. Upon landing, you will be warmly welcomed by our representaive, who will drive you to Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge.
A maze of sparkling lagoons, meandering channels and overgrown islands teeming with wildlife, Botswana's Okavango Delta lies like a sparkling jewel at the heart of the Kalahari Desert. Known as "the river that never finds the sea", its crystal clear channels spread over the thirstlands of the Kalahari with their papyrus-fringed banks and fertile floating islands. Adapted for a life in and out of water, the elegant red lechwe and shy sitatunga are found in this watery wilderness. Lion, cheetah, leopard and African wild dog share the floodplains with large herds of elephant and buffalo. Hippo inhabit the deeper channels and lagoons, while honey badgers can be seen in broad daylight. Tall termite mounds are homes for families of dwarf and banded mongoose. Experience the delicate details of the glistening waterways on a mokoro (dugout canoe) ride, where iridescent dragonflies, frogs of every colour and jewel-like kingfishers live in the papyrus-lined banks Situated on a permanent channel of the Okavango Delta, adjacent to the renowned Moremi Game Reserve, the Sandibe Okavango Delta Lodge boasts exclusive traversing rights through 270 sq. km (104 sq. miles) of wilderness in a private concession. Its position was specifically chosen for its extraordinary beauty and proximity to region's game-rich grassy plains. Sandibe's raised guest areas and suites look out onto the Santantadibe Channel, providing spectacular Okavango Delta views. Secluded plunge pools and outdoor showers in each of the 12 suites allow guests to feel a part of the forest, while private fireplaces warm the African nights once the sun goes down. Cleverly constructed, indoor and outdoor lounging areas create cosy nooks ideal for private dining beneath the stars.
Spend two nights at the Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge in a suite with indoor and outdoor shower. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits, beers, teas and coffees, refreshments on game drives, scheduled safari activities, emergency medical evacuation insurance, laundry as well as transfers to and from the airstrip.
