Day 1. Santiago
Arrival in Santiago de Chile, reception and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2. Santiago
After breakfast, a half day city tour of Santiago including a visit to the Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino. This museum offers a thorough overview of 4500 years of pre-Columbian civilization throughout Central and South America. At the Main Square (Plaza de Armas) you shall appreciate the beautiful Cathedral, Post Office and National Museum. Continue along the main avenue called "Alameda" to admire the San Francisco Church and the National Library. You shall also see the Mercado Central which is one of Santiagos most colourful markets.
A visit to Cerro Santa Lucia, where Santiago was founded in 1541. After lunch, a visit to the Undurraga vineyard, one of the largest exporters of fine wines in Chile. The tour will end with some wine tasting before returning to Santiago.
Day 3. Santiago - Punta Arenas - Puerto Natales
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Punta Arenas. Arrival and transfer to a typical restaurant for lunch. After lunch, continue your trip to the Penguin Sanctuary at Seno Otway. The Magellanic Penguins here return annually between the months of October and March to lay eggs and raise their young. Continue on to Puerto Natales, close to the Torres del Paine National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1978).
Day 4. Puerto Natales - Torres Del Paine
Depending upon your choice of hotel, you will either stay inside the National Park or Puerto Natales and use this as a base to explore this incredible region of Southern Chile. Torres del Paine is Chile's showpiece: a world biosphere reserve with all the diverse scenery of Alaska in only 180,000ha (444,600ac). The Torres Del Paine are spectacular granite pillars which soar almost vertically for more than 2000m (6560ft) above the Patagonian steppe. Cascading waterfalls, sprawling glaciers, dense forests, and the chance to see Patagonian guanaco make it an incredible destination.
Day 5. Torres Del Paine
Each day we have a selection of different tours available. Choose from visiting several breathtaking glaciers and stunning lakes; enjoy treks, walks, working farms and other excursions. This National Park will appeal to people from all walks of life including outdoor enthusiasts, photographers, naturalists and birders.

Day 8. Torres Del Paine - El Calafate
Transfer to El Calafate in Argentina, some six hours drive through stunning mountainous scenery. El Calafate is the site of the incredible Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the most dramatic natural sites left on earth. Accommodation for two nights. The Perito Moreno Glacier of Santa Cruz is a 60m (197ft) high river of rising, toppling and exploding ice, though it has not advanced for several years. Excursion to the incredible Perito Moreno Glacier, walking along footpaths and balconies to reach this incredible phenomenon.
Day 9. Perito Moreno Glaciar
After breakfast, opportunity to walk on the glacier or for a selection of other activities including other treks, 4x4 trips and boat trips to other glaciers in the area such as Upsala, Onelli and Spegazzini.
Day 10. El Calafate - Buenos Aires
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel for two nights accommodation.
Day 11. Buenos Aires
After breakfast, a private city tour of perhaps the most cosmopolitan metropolis in South America. The tour will include a visit to the Plaza de Mayo, the hub of the city centre and where many public buildings such as the Catedral Metropolitana can be found. At the east end, you will find the Casa Rosada presidential palace with the famous balcony from which Juan and Evita Peron greeted the masses. A visit will also be made to the Teatro Colon, found at the intersection of Cirrito and Tucuman the world-class opera house that opened in 1908 with a presentation of Aida. It seats 2500 spectators and offers standing room for another 1000. There is also a museum featuring instruments, costumes and photographs of performers.
You shall also visit La Boca, Buenos Aires' most colourful neighbourhood. San Telmo, just a few blocks south of Plaza de Mayo is the artist's quarter, what some believe to be Buenos Aires' most interesting feature. A final visit to Recoleta, a very fashionable area where you can visit the fine arts museum, called Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, and the city's gardens of Plaza Alvear and Plaza Francia. The latter hosts the largest crafts fair in the city every Sunday. Return to your hotel. In the evening, dinner & tango Show in La Esquina Carlos Gardel, the foremost tango house in Buenos Aires.
Day 12. Buenos Aires
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
