Located in the middle of the American continent and to the west of Colombia, Panama is situated on an isthmus, connecting the northern and southern part of America. A tropical country with temperatures around 80-90 degrees Fahrenheit (about 25 - 30 degrees Celsius) Panama economically is famous for its Canal but less well known are the rich rainforest throughout the country. With coasts on both the Pacific and Caribbean, Panama offers excellent diving, fishing and wildlife opportunities.
